South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has announced a launch date to launch its first phone in 2021. Coming in the Galaxy S series lineup, Samsung is set to release its new flagship phone Galaxy S21 series on the 14th of this month. 


There have already been many rumors that the Galaxy S21 series will be released in 2021 as an upgraded version of the Galaxy S20 series.


The latest information is that it will be one of the most valuable features available in 2021. Read on to know more about the features and specifications of this phone.



Galaxy S21 January 2021 Launch Details

 

Samsung has announced its first Galaxy Unpacked event in 2021. Information from some sources that the Galaxy S21 series will be launched at this event. 


According to the official teaser, the launch of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones will take place on January 14 via an online event at 10am EST and 8:30 pm IST. 

The teaser on the new Galaxy S21 phones does not provide much information while the rear camera module provides information.


Details of the expected specifications of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones

Samsung is set to launch three smartphones as part of the Galaxy S21 series: the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. 

According to some leaks, all the three smartphones are reportedly coming with a Punch-hole design Infinity-O display with a 120HZ refresh rate. 

While the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus have two flat displays, the Galaxy S21 is likely to have an ultra curved display.


Galaxy S21 Series Camera Sensor‌ Features


As for the camera setup in the Galaxy S21 series smartphones, the camera sensors in all the phones are expected to have rectangular modules. 


The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a quad rear camera setup with 108 megapixel sensors while the other two models have triple rear cameras with 64 megapixel sensors.


Galaxy S21 Series Battery Features

 

The specifications of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones are likely to feature the latest Exynos 2100 processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC chipset depending on the market releasing the smartphones. 


The battery support of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra is reportedly packed with 4,000mAh, 4,800mAh and 4,885mAh batteries respectively. These are likely to run Samsung One UI3.0 based on Android 11.
